I AM SO PUMPED IT ARRIVED WAY EARLIER THAN EXPECTED

I’ve been spending my time configuring my new IdeaPad y500 (Lenovo). THE KEYBOARD LIGHTS UP YOU GUYS

This is a HUGE step up from my dinky little netbook which means VIDEO GAMES

MMOS! TF2 MAYBE EVEN!

but it’s going to take several hours to get all my documents, music, pictures, and videos onto this and then I’ll have to go in and clean them out, probably (thing about remote back up services is they hold on to EVER and it’s difficult to move things selectively)

GOOD IDEA: budget well enough to buy a freaking awesome gaming/multimedia laptop comparable to alienware, a special lunch with your girlfriend, and the final remaining convention costs with $100 to spare

BAD IDEA: be unreasonably intimidated by people you really like on tumblr because they may have misinterpreted you and also you are so damn awkward

 then make a stupid convoluted post about it

Last night I had a dream that my teeth were growing into a mantis-like mandible made of polished meteorite, complete with chunks of translucent topaz

in the dream I felt like something was off but I couldn’t really identify what, and in retrospect it was both horrifying and totally awesome

Also I took a road trip and ate with some friends at a diner and then saw a tornado pick up a giant crane and I think the moon was falling, w/e, meteorite mantis jaws

this movie is going to make us fall in love with and then hate randall all over again he starts out as a sweetie and becomes a huge asshole by the end of it

i can’t wait for the fangirl boom
